As we and the world navigate through the peaks of COVID-19, it is natural to keep everyone involved – our patients, our clinicians and our staff – safe. It is also crucial to keep healthcare open and accessible in the midst of a pandemic.
Our clinicians and staff wear masks, face shields and disposable PPE kits while working. That way, they are protected against the virus by following safety norms. All our staff is vaccinated against the virus. We put sanitizers across the place for everyone to take a pump.
At the entrance, sanitization of hands and temperature checks are mandatory for anybody to be allowed into the clinic. We also urge patients to be accompanied by only one person to avoid crowding.
Limited occupancy and social distancing norms are practised throughout and the patients are not asked to remove the mask unless during examinations that require removing the mask. Every nook and corner of the clinic is regularly cleaned with 1% sodium hypochlorite solution.
As we end this blog, we recommend putting on a face mask when you are in public places. You should also wash your hands regularly, or at least carry around hand sanitizer. With public effort, we hope we can safely go back from the 'new normal' to the 'old normal'. Till then – Stay well, stay safe.
